Fire Wood for Fuel and Cooking

All wood is stacked and cured in covered, protected bins for optimal quality and moisture control.

Green Wood (Lowest Cost): High moisture content (MC). Requires self-seasoning (curing) before efficient use. Purchase in advance! $300/cord / $75/quarter-cord bin

Seasoned Wood (Ready-to-Burn) Air-dried to appropriate MC for immediate, efficient use in residential or commercial heating. $400/cord / $100/quarter-cord bin

Kiln-Dried Wood (Premium Smoking/Cooking Grade) Subjected to a kiln-drying process for superior dryness. Ideal for smoking, cooking, and high-efficiency burning. Typically Oak or Hickory (dependent on current stock). $800/cord / $200/quarter-cord bin

Saw Mill Services

Services and Pricing: Hourly Rate: $150 per hour.

Blade Fee: A standard charge of $35 is included to cover the first blade used.

Damaged Blade Policy: Any subsequent blades damaged during the sawing process due to debris in the logs will incur an additional charge per blade.

Note on Debris Detection:

We take great care to scan for metal within the logs. However, this process is not infallible. Some materials, including deeply embedded metal, non-ferrous metals (which our detection equipment cannot identify), and rocks, remain undetectable and are the cause of most blade damage.

Kiln Drying Lumber (Seasonal)

(May - Oct)

Price is Dependent Upon the Time of Year. Ambient Air Temperature and Humidity play a huge factor in the Kilns efficiency.

The price is by the Board Foot,

  • $1.50/Bdft for lumber less than 2" thick

  • $3.00/Bdft for lumber 2" thick and greater.

  • 250 Bdft Minimum

Bdft" means board foot -- this is a measure of wood volume. One bdft is a board that is 12" wide x 12" long x 1" thick.

Total Bdft = Length * Width * Thickness / 144

Drying times Vary based on species, wood Thickness and ambient Weather conditions.

Small Scale Finish Work

Custom Dimensional Lumber Services: Small Batch Precision ($75 Hr)

Our small-scale wood shop is uniquely positioned to provide high-quality, custom dimensional lumber that large mills cannot efficiently produce.

We specialize in working with small batches of material, utilizing our integrated sawmill and kiln-drying operations to offer unparalleled control over the entire process, from log to finished product.

Our Capabilities

Custom Dimensions: We can mill logs into almost any dimensional size required for your specific project, moving beyond standard stock sizes to accommodate custom beams, non-standard thickness, and unique widths.

Low Volume Runs: Our model is built around efficiency in small to moderate orders. This makes us the ideal source for independent builders, furniture makers, and homeowners needing precise material without the large minimum order quantities of industrial suppliers.

Precision Surfacing: Following kiln-drying, we surface the lumber to your desired finish (S1S, S2S, S3S, or S4S), providing a ready-to-use product cut to exact specifications for a perfect fit in your project.

We are your partner for custom lumber solutions where quality, precision, and low-volume flexibility are essential.
